Okay, so I downloaded it last night and boy does that woman have a voice.
7. Susan Boyles’ “Wild Horses.” She has an amazing voice. Not a looker though at all.

9. The Thrills 2004 Album – Let’s Bottle Bohemia; a really underrated album of catchy tunes. Best is “The Irish Keep Gate Crashing.” Lost my original and thank goodness for ITunes.
So I’ve been thinking this morning about what would be my guilty pleasures. Started with overhearing someone on the tube saying that they secretly enjoyed watching Jedward. I’m sure a few weeks ago, Simon Cowell said that he secretly liked them, I know I didn’t.
So my guilty pleasures:
1. Grand Designs and secretly in my head whilst watching it saying “hmm I wouldn’t have done that Kevin.”
2. Liking and enjoying the Greatest Hits of a-Ha and actually owning their last album.
3. I did catch myself, whilst watching the Children in Need at the Albert Hall, saying “They’re quite good Take That aren’t they?” Guilty Pleasure in the maiking…
4. Lucozade and pretending it does give you energy. Bollocks. But I still drink it.
5. Michael Buble – as much as I love cutting edge music and stuff slightly out of the box… You can’t beat the Canadian crooner. No honestly, you can’t.
6. Rain. I love it. Reminds me of home. Much prefer it to snow. Could even beat a sunny day.
Anyway I’m sure there’s more but I’ll add as I come up with them. Please add yours when and if you’re bored!!!
So having a completely irrelevant arguement with Antoinette over some Sri Lankan mutton rolls, which were incidentally amazing, and decided to connect my little toe with the wall.
Never felt pain like it. Said a few choice words. Keeled over. Shed a tear. Then added some ice to it.
Anyway spent the rest of the evening wanting to vomit. A response that last occured when I cracked a rib.
Next day could barely walk but tried to tidy the garden and ran over said toe with the wheel from the Weber bbq.

Have been slightly busy this week with the new start of school year but normal service will start tomorrow or later today.
Last night was reading through Luke. Ive found that as I read, it helps if what im listening to is in the same ilk.
I remembered at Newday there was a performance that blew my mind. It was Simon Brading and 29th Chapter singing/performing Our God He Reigns. When I heard it. Wow. Completed changed how I looked at worship altogether. Just was so inclusive and so diversive at the same time.
So I looked and found this from Newday 2008. Not as good as what I saw. But still wicked.
Inspiring.
I was recommended this guys album yesterday by a close friend. I’m finding that reading Luke, one of the gospels, and listening to this album is really quite inspiring. The lyrics are amazing, it helps that it sounds brilliant too.
I would put up a video but I’m lying on the floor with my tailless cat listening to it.
The best track, in my view, is called Fantasy. Has the line:
This is life is all you have but you’ve wasted time and time again. I pray you see how beautiful the one you’ve been searching for.
In my book, that’s quite apt.

I don’t get Big Brother. I really don’t.
I dont get how it has lasted ten series’. I dont get why people watch it. I don’t get it.
I’m sure its perfect hangover TV and always watching just in case something naughty happens.
BUT it doesnt. And even if it did. Would you be proud that you saw that “time they did it under thecovers but we weren’t sure what they were doing”? Iwouldn’t be.
As for the people who are in there. Im sure the first word that springs into your mind is unique. In my head, the word FAKE springs into my forefront. They just seem too obviously fake.
All these people putting on their Facebook/Twitter status: I really hate XX, YY, ZZ… How do you know? Have you met them? Or are you just falling for the media’s trick of making you feel. I’m sure the media is just supposed to report news on an unbiased viewpoint. Not making you think that the most recent evictee is a b***h who deserves your hatred.
Do you hate them as much as say Hitler?
Anyway, I’m glad its going to finish. Maybe we’ll get some quality TV instead of this. Or maybe we’ll get more TV quiz shows like Deal or No Deal. I mean how long can that go on with people getting excited over it. Its a random game of pure luck. There is no pattern or anything. Who cares? Also isn’t the title of gameshow a question?

Watching the Simpsons and wondering if anyone apart from me finds it funny anymore. I know it sounds strange but I still find it amusing. Even if I’ve seen the episode 10 times before.
In this episode, Marge has road rage. Homer thinks he is gay because he bought a ladies car.
So far I’ve laughed once. Not a proper a laugh. Like a small smile, and air coming out.
It was either this or Eggheads.
